A special place
Perfect Parisian home away from home where we played host to our children and grandchildren! Three generations in one beautiful, very clean and sunny apartment. I could not have asked for a better way to celebrate our fortieth anniversary. I’m already planning a trip back next spring with my two sisters. We loved Estrella, and we appreciated having real bathrooms and a real kitchen. The Grey Poupon perfectly suited our family’s needs. What a special place.

Surprised and delighted
We were very surprised and delighted that an apartment so close to the Champs Elysees could be such a quiet and calm haven after our long days of museums and shopping. Convenient location, yet truly a secluded hide-away. I hope to come back again and again.
We celebrated our anniversary in Paris this year. What a romantic little street just off the beaten path of the busy Paris goings-on. Plenty of quiet dining options just a stone’s throw from the door, endless sidewalks for strolling and admiring the beautiful Parisian architecture, and a very private retreat when we just wanted to relax, reflect and plan together over coffee.

Awesome, Mom! Words we don’t hear very often from our teens. My son (17) and daughter (15) loved cruising along the Champs Elysee to check out that crazy but unique Abercrombie & Fitch and all the big American names they love mixed in with lots of French brands. I preferred the more elegant Avenue Montaigne, which is peaceful and lets you see the what Paris is renowned for… its fashion houses. The store windows are breathtaking, and there are little gardens in front! Even if you do not enjoy fashion, the street with its beautiful architecture and hotels is magnificent. We love this apartment because the location is absolutely perfect and the feel is so much nicer than a hotel; it’s truly a residence. (Freezer maybe doesn’t make enough ice?)

Large living area and open kitchen
My wife and I spent a week in this wonderful apartment with another couple with whom we frequently travel. We appreciated the large living area and open kitchen for shared space occasions, and the privacy afforded by the layout of the bedrooms was perfect. We felt like we were in a totally separate apartment. Next time, we may invite our son and his family, as there are bunk beds for the grandchildren in another area, as well.

To celebrate our 50th birthdays, four sorority sisters joined me for a week-long lark in Paris. It was absolutely heavenly! Some of them had not been to Paris since college. When you’re nineteen it’s fine to stay in a dump, but for this trip we wanted someplace fabulous and conveniently situated. This apartment was perfect! The neighborhood and building are truly Parisian, but the apartment, itself, is unexpectedly open and sunny. Other than the architectural elements such as the huge windows and classical finishes, it is not typically French. Not stuffy, not cramped or dark, not over-decorated, but sunny and very comfortable. The newly done modern bathrooms were a brilliant bonus! I’ve not seen anything on a par with this, and I’ve visited Paris several times. I would definitely recommend staying here, because the location is ideal, close and convenient to museums and shopping, and the quality of the accommodation is superior. The kitchen is outfitted with good quality plates and glasses like we would use at home, and there are real bath towels, not like the cheap little motel towels you see in most places. Glad we chose Le Grey Poupon. (The name gave us a chuckle, too.)

Easy access to everything
Our business took my husband to Paris for a lengthy (multi-week) project. I found Le Grey Poupon for him, rather than a very costly hotel or a cramped apartment. This was perfect. The apartment is spacious enough that he hosted two of our colleagues and their wives for a week, and I was able to go with my two kids for a couple of weeks when they left. We could live like Parisians in a location with easy access to everything, but without the touristy feeling. The shop owners and waiters at our favorite places came to know us as regulars! It was our neighborhood where everything we needed from coffee, bread and cheese to a fantastic steak dinner is within a two minute walk! I highly recommend this place for extended business travel as well as family vacationing with friends.
